Motherhood is Wild
I fully believe it needs to be documented and studied. Instead we brush it under the rug, treat it as a point of shame (I'm just a mom), or some avoid it like the plague. But man, it is one of the most beautiful, powerful, sacrificial things I have ever seen or participated in. The love, care, and tenderness shared between a mama and her little one is just hardly found anywhere on earth! I'm smitten, can you tell?

A Spring Full of Motherhood Sessions
This season I've had the joy of photographing 3 different motherhood sessions at Dear Meraki Studio in Downtown Dallas. This studio has a beautiful, bohemian style that changes with the seasons-- so you always get something new and lovely to shoot!
I had the joy of photographing two "last days of nursing" sessions and one of my best friend's maternity. Jen, who you'll see first, has been breastfeeding for 13 years and this session commemorated the last season. Kristina, who recently found out she needs brain surgery, is needing to stop nursing her precious Amelie as she gets treatment. And finally, my sweet Keely cradles her surprise + last baby to bring the 5th missing piece to their family puzzle. So many special lasts, that I get overwhelmed just writing about it. I am so honored to photograph these moments for you-- words cannot express! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and enjoy these images of such beautiful, strong, gentle women ♡ Happy Mother's Day! I hope you go find yours and tell her a big thank you!
