After a two-year break in photography I'm back!
I honestly didn't think I would come back, but I think that was a good thing too. Getting pregnant with baby number 4 put things into perspective. I really needed to slow down and align. Homeschooling, growing in community, and really just pursuing Jesus' dreams came into the forefront instead. It's been good and I'm feeling more grounded than ever. Now, in a new season, I feel the pull to jump back in! Which is exciting! But it's going to look so different, my spirit knows it.
It's not going to be hustle-focused (which was part of why I quit in the first place). It's not going to be endless hours of work, not knowing when to say 'no' or how to not over-schedule my weeks. It won't look like striving on social media, hoping to get some client leads.
So if you've found yourself here, on my new website and on this post, know that it was all thought through, prayed through, and it is not done flippantly. Jesus first, family second, always. And now, in this new season, there is room again for creating and for building a business that I love and that blesses those around me.
Here's to 2024. Lets' go.
